TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS STARTED, THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIOLENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5466810529. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,600.
