Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 KIA SOUL. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A STOP SIGN, IT STALLED AND THE BATTERY WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART AND WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS INTERNAL ENGINE DAMAGE AND THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,143.
