Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH OVER A POTHOLE, THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING OR AN IMPACT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. ADDITIONALLY, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RETRACT. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PERFORMANCE FORD LINCOLN BOUNTIFUL (1800 S MAIN ST, BOUNTIFUL, UT 84010, (888) 476-8961), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 167,000.
