Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO HESITATE AND LOSE POWER. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND RESTART THE VEHICLE WITHOUT AN ISSUE. THE CONTACT CALLED MULTIPLE UNKNOWN LOCAL DEALERS REGARDING THE FAILURE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 252,000.
