Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 BMW 325I. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE RESERVOIR, ABS, AND WINDOW WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO OVERHEAT. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON, AND ATTEMPT TO DRIVE WITHOUT IT OVERHEATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE RADIATOR TANK NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BMW OF ROSEVILLE (500 AUTOMALL DR, ROSEVILLE, CA 95661, (916) 790-1990) TO BE DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, THE DEALER REFUSED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE A BMW BATTERY. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 76,000.
