Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CADILLAC DTS. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, THE CONTACT NOTICED OIL WAS LEAKING. THE CONTACT PLACED CARDBOARD UNDER THE VEHICLE TO VERIFY IF THE LEAK WAS STOPPABLE. THERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL CHAMBER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. LEXUS OF ARLINGTON (1510 W DUNDEE RD, ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL 60004, (847)-794-4819) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 93,000. *BF *TR
