TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA PILOT. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY BRAKED WITHOUT THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. ALSO, THE STABILITY CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON ANOTHER OCCASION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LEGENDS HONDA KANSAS CITY (LOCATED AT 10050 PARALLEL PKWY, KANSAS CITY, KS 66109, (913) 871-9483) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VSA MODULE (CODE 841) NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 09644189. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000.
