Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STATIONARY THE VEHICLE WAS REAR ENDED BY A SECOND VEHICLE. DURING THE CRASH THE DRIVER SUFFERED A SEVERE LOW BACK INJURY WHEN A METAL OBJECT INSIDE THE SEAT PROTRUDED MAKING CONTACT WITH THE DRIVERS LOWER BACK REGION. THE INJURY REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AWAY. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
