Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JEEP LIBERTY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 4 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING OR AN IMPACT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT NO COLLISION OCCURRED TO CAUSE THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. ZELLAR JEEP (3021 N. SUMMIT ST, ARKANSAS CITY, KANSAS) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 190,000.
