Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED THE VEHICLE INTO A POLE. HILLSTOP MOTORS IGNORED 2 IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALLS SINCE 8/25/15. CONSUMER PURCHASED DEFECTIVE VEHICLE ON 03/29/18. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER AND AN UNKNOWN DEALER WERE NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED TO A JUNK YARD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000. *BF CONSUMER STATED SHE SUFFERED PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURIES.*JB
