Consumer Description

I REPORTED THIS TO YOUR OFFICE OVER THE PHONE AND RECEIVED A COMPLAINT NUMBER, BUT I LOST IT. THIS MAY BE A DUPLICATE REPORT. THE DEALER FIXED THE PROBLEM; HE INSTALLED A NEW DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATER. BUT: THE RED SRS WARNING LIGHT STILL CAME ON. I SPOKE TO THEM AND HE SAID THAT THE WARNING LIGHT SERVED AS A WARNING FOR SEVERAL FUNCTIONS. HE SAID THAT WOULD COST ME $ 150.00 TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE; PLUS PARTS; PLUS INSTALLATION. I DID NOT THINK THAT WAS RIGHT. THE RED LIGHT SHOULD NOT SERVICE MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AT NO CHARGE. WHILE DRIVING, I STILL HAVE THAT RED SRS RED WARNING LIGHT. YOUR OPINION? *JS
