Consumer Description

CANISTER PURGE VALVE FAILURE - CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING. ERROR CODE P1450 DISPLAYS NOW INDICATING THERE IS A VACUUM ISSUE IN MY FUEL TANK WE HAD THE VEHICLE CHECKED IN APRIL 2016 WHEN THE RECALL NOTICE CAME OUT - THE RECALL WAS CLOSED WITH A COMPUTER MODULE UPDATE TO MAKE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON IF VALVE MALFUNCTIONS - BECAUSE THERE WAS NO VISIBLE ISSUE WITH THE VALVE IN 2016 FORD WILL NOT HONOR THE RECALL AND FIX THE MALFUNCTIONING PART AT THIS TIME
