Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK STARTED TO LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ELDER FORD OF TAMPA (9560 N FLORIDA AVE, TAMPA FL 33612) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V930000 (FUEL SYSTEM) NO LONGER APPLIED TO THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PRESSURE TESTED AND FOUND SAFE TO DRIVE, AND ALSO THAT THE RECALL WAS REMOVED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
