Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE FAILED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SHIFT INTO THIRD GEAR WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO REDLANDS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (500 W REDLANDS BLVD, REDLANDS, CA 92373) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V203000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
