Consumer Description

AFTER RECEIVING MY CAR AFTER THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED, 15 MILES INTO DRIVING IT HOME MY ENGINE BEGAN TO KNOCK AND SLOW DOWN ON THE FREEWAY. THIS SAFETY RECALL PUT ME AT RISK. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THEY WILL NOT COMPENSATE FOR THE PRICE OF A NEW ENGINE AND TRIED TO BLAME IT ON ME, COMPLETELY DISREGARDING ALL OF THE OTHER VEHICLES JUST LIKE ME AFTER THIS RECALL. I PURCHASED AN ENGINE ON MY OWN EXPENSE AFTER THAT OCCURRED, AND THAT ENGINE IS BAD. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ISN'T COMPENSATING LIKE OTHERS DID.
