Consumer Description

AS EVERYONE ELSE WITH 08 EDGE THE TRANSMISSION LOSES POWER. ENTERING HWY AND PRESS ON GAS, NO PICKUP JUST STALLS OUT. REPORTED TO ENERGY COUNTRY FORD ON 3 DIFFERENT VISITS, IN PORT ARTHUR, TX AND OF COURSE THEY SAID NOTHING WRONG. ALSO, LOUD CLUNK FROM PARK TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. PAINT ALSO CHIPS/PEELS ON THIS CREAM COLORED VEHICLE. HAVE SEEN OTHER VEHICLES THIS COLOR ON THE ROAD AND THE PAINT AROUND DOOR AREAS PEELING. ONLY 65K MILES AND WELL MAINTAINED. WITH SO MANY REPORTS OF THIS ISSUE FORD SURELY WOULD RECALL THE 08 EDGE TRANSMISSION LIKE THEY HAVE ON THE TRUCKS.
