Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH AND APPROACHING A STOP, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND HAD IT TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC REPAIRED THE STARTER AND STARTER RELAY, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. MULTIPLE UNKNOWN DEALERS WERE CONTACTED, BUT DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000.
