TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DECELERATED WHILE DRIVING. ONCE THE ENGINE WAS RESTARTED, "REDUCED POWER" APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO SERRA CHEVROLET (28111 TELEGRAPH RD, SOUTHFIELD, MI 48034, (248) 354-6001) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE TEST COULD NOT READ THE CODES. THE DEALER PERFORMED A SYSTEM UPDATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,036.
