Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR KEPT RANDOMLY FLASHING, THERE WAS REDUCED ENGINE POWER, AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO CRANK. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A LOSS OF ELECTRICAL AND ENGINE POWER, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BILL COLWELL FORD INC. (238 WATERLOO RD, HUDSON, IA 50643, (319) 988-4153) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY AND FUSE BOX NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT IT CONTINUED TO STALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000..*BF*JB
