Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 VOLKSWAGEN EOS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DURHAM VOLKSWAGEN (LOCATED AT 3823 DURHAM-CHAPEL HILL BLVD, DURHAM, NC 27707, (919) 493-7411) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR WAS RESET; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN A WEEK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
