Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. AFTER RESTARTING THE ENGINE, A CLICKING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GEORGESVILLE NISSAN (1260 AUTO MALL DR, COLUMBUS, OH) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED FOR THE SAME FAILURE IN MARCH OF 2015 (AT 49,000 MILES). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,540.
