TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AND THE BRAKES FAILED TO OPERATE AS INTENDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V675000 (ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 146,000.
