TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS AND DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS THE SAME AS NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V563000 (POWER TRAIN). ROSWELL MITSUBISHI (11170 ALPHARETTA HWY, ROSWELL, GA 30076, (678) 349-2900) WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE DURING A DIAGNOSTIC TEST; HOWEVER, THEY FLUSHED THE TRANSMISSION AND CHANGED THE FILTERS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.
