Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND IT RETURNED TO NORMAL SPEED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE BEGAN APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR AGO AND HAD BECOME WORSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,000.
