TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V024000 (AIR BAGS) WAS RECEIVED IN JANUARY OF 2019. AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER (MARSHAL MIZE FORD, 5348 HIGHWAY 153, HIXON, TN), THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE DEFECT WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
