Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE AND AIR BAG WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. ALSO, THE ODOMETER BECAME INOPERABLE AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO MAINTAIN FORWARD MOMENTUM. THE VEHICLE WAS SAFELY GUIDED OFF OF THE ROADWAY, THE IGNITION WAS PLACED IN THE OFF POSITION, AND THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED; HOWEVER, IT FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. KRAUSE FAMILY FORD OF WOODSTOCK (LOCATED AT 195 WOODSTOCK PKWY, WOODSTOCK, GA 30188, (770) 592-8873) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 159,000. *TT VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED.*JB
