BOUGHT A 2011 CORVETTE . HAD A STRONG GAS SMELL WHEN PARKED . INSIDE AND OUT OF CAR . TOOK CAR IN FOR INSPECTION . TECH SAID IT'S A COMMON PROBLEM ON C6 SERIES CORVETTES THAT THE FUEL PUMP AREA HAS GAS LEAKS . I PARKED CAR INSIDE GARAGE AND THE GAS SMELL IS SO STRONG , I'M AFRAID TO PARK IT INSIDE BECAUSE OF FIRE HAZARDS . I HAVE PICTURES OF PROBLEM . CHEVROLET IS AWARE OF THESE CARS DOING THIS . IT'S IN THE WEB SIGHTS OF CORVETTE OWNERS FOR SAME PROBLEMS. THEY NEED TO RECALL THESE FOR REPAIR FOR FIRE HAZARD TO CAR , HOUSE AND INJURY TO PERSON OWNING THEM .
