Consumer Description

VEHICLE CONSISTENTLY DISPLAYS LOW COOLANT WARNING AND VISUAL CHECKS CONFIRM LOW COOLANT LEVELS. VEHICLE EXPERIENCES INTERMITTENT SUDDEN OVERHEAT WARNINGS WITH RAPID TEMPERATURE GAUGE RISE, RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE STALLING WHILE IN MOTION. TEMPERATURE BYPASS/DIVERSION VALVE RECALL WAS PERFORMED EARLIER THIS YEAR, BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. THE LAST EVENT OCCURRED IN HEAVY MID-TOWN MODERATE SPEED (35MPH) TRAFFIC, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES AFTER START-UP, AND NEARLY RESULTED IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.
