Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHILE AT A STOP SIGN. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND BEGAN VIBRATING. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND FELT A RUSH OF AIR COMING FROM THE FUEL TANK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO FOUND FAILURE CODE NUMBER: 1450 REGARDING THE EVAP CANISTER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BIG STAR FORD (17717 SOUTH FWY, MANVEL, TX 77578, (844) 745-4026) AND THE EVAP CANISTER WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
