Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND BEING SERVICED AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND STATED THAT THE FIRE STARTED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. A POLICE REPORT AND A FIRE REPORT WERE FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED AND IT WAS UNKNOWN IF IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY STARTED THE CLAIM PROCESS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *TT VIN AVAILABLE *JB
