Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE ANCHOR WHILE REMOVING A CHILD SAFETY SEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAYES CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC OF BALDWIN (3656 GA-365, ALTO, GA 30510, (706) 776-1144) WHERE THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, A NEW SEAT BELT WAS INSTALLED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000.
