Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 JEEP RENEGADE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CONSUMED AN ALARMING AMOUNT OF OIL. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE FAILURE AND FOUND THAT SIMILAR VEHICLES EXPERIENCED AN OIL PUMP HOUSING CRACK IN THE BALANCE SHAFT MODULE. THE CONTACT SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH RIVER FRONT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (200 HANSEN BLVD, NORTH AURORA, IL 60542, (630) 907-1700) FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, EVEN AFTER THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH A NUMBER TO A DEALER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 950.
