Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NAKOMA PLAZA AUTO (608-271-2323, LOCATED AT 4514 VERONA RD, MADISON, WI 53711) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVESHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE ND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 165,000. *TT*JB
