Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND DECELERATED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, ALL THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. HUGHES HONDA (2250 MOODY ROAD, WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA 31088, (478) 449-3939) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE FUEL INJECTOR MAY HAVE BEEN FAULTY. THE SOURCE OF THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONED IN GERMANY AND REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V629000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION, VISIBILITY). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 13,000.
