Consumer Description

TAKATA RECALL I GOT MY FIRST RECALL NOTICE BACK IN EARLY 2016 WHEN I LIVED IN MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA. I WAS TOLD I WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN THE PART IS AVAILABLE. I AM LIVING IN JACKSON, TENESSEE. I RECEIVED A NOTICE SAYING THE PART IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE, AND THAT IS TWO AND HALF YEARS LATER. A LOT OF INCONVENIENCE HAS CAUSED. I TRIED TO DRIVE THE CAR WITHOUT A PASSENGER ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. SEVERAL TIMES, WHEN MY OTHER CAR BROKE DOWN, I HAD TO DRIVE MY FUSION WITH MY WIFE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS IS A CONSTANT TIMING BOMB IF ACCIDENT HAPPENS AND THE AIR BAG INFLATES. I HOPE FORD WILL FIX MY AIRBAG WITHIN 1 MONTH, WHICH IS A REASONABLE TIME AFTER WAITING FOR TWO AND HALF YEARS.
