TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD FREESTAR. WHILE IDLING AT A RED LIGHT AND ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A TURN, THE VEHICLE DID NOT ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND IT WOULD NOT ENGAGE IN GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
