Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FUSION. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PARK THE VEHICLE ON A DECLINE, THE SHIFT SELECTOR WAS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARDS. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND SET THE PARKING BRAKE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED. COWLES PARKWAY FORD (LOCATED AT 13779 NOBLEWOOD PLAZA, WOODBRIDGE, VA 22193, (703) 986-5500) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000.
