KEYPAD SHIFTER, PUSHING DRIVE BUTTON SELECT SIDE OF KEYPAD WOULD LIGHT UP WITH A 6 INDICATING TRUCK WAS IN DRIVE PROBLEM: SELECT SIDE OF KEYPAD (6) WOULD GO BLANK DRIVING,ALWAYS REACHED DOWN AND PUSHED D BUTTON THE 6 WOULD RE-ILLUMINATE, (FRIDAY FEB 23RD 2018) KEYPAD BLANK I DID NOT PUSH THE DRIVE BUTTON, FIFTY MILES, NO ISSUES UNTIL I SLOWED DOWN FOR RED STOPLIGHT ON A 4 LANE ROAD, TRANSMISSION SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AT 15 MPH, LIGHT TURNED GREEN I HAD TO COME TO COMPLETE STOP TO GET VEHICLE BACK IN GEAR BACKING TRAFFIC UP MONITORED KEYPAD AFTER THAT PUSHED D ON KEYPAD WHEN LIGHT WOULD GO BLANK. CALLED RIHM KENWORTH COON RAPIDS MN, SERVICE DEPT, THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS.... MARCH 07 2018 TOOK TRUCK INTO RIHM KENWORTH COON RAPIDS TOLD THEM THE STORY WHAT HAPPENED, ALL THE SERVICE WRITER WROTE UP WAS TRANS SELECTOR GOES BLANK. THE TECH WROTE UP HE COULD NOT RECREATE PROBLEM!! INVOICE 400071GR DEALER SENT OUT UNSAFE TRUCK!! 06/11/2018 BLANK DISPLAY, COMING UP TO CLOVERLEAF ON FREEWAY TO EXIT TRUCK SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AGAIN! 06/13/2018 BROUGHT TRUCK BACK TO DEALER, INVOICE 401631GR THEY SPENT 4 HOURS GOING AFTER FAULT CODE OF PO722 OUTPUT SPEED NO SIGNAL... LEAVING DEALERSHIP DISPLAY LIGHT WENT BLANK AGAIN, INFORMED SERV. MGR 06/15/2018 BROUGHT TRUCK BACK TO DEALER AS THE DISPLAY GOING BLANK WAS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT INVOICE 401663GR THEY CONTACTED ARENS (THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PUSH BUTTON DISPLAY) AND GOT NO RESPONSE, THEY REPLACED PUSH BUTTON DISPLAY. TOOK TRUCK, DISPLAY WENT BLANK AGAIN, INFORMED SERVICE MGR AGAIN 06/18/2018 DISPLAY BLANK, TRUCK SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AGAIN, 3RD INCIDENT WHERE TRUCK WENT INTO NEUTRAL MOVING DOWN ROAD! 06/19/2018 TOOK BACK TO DEALER INV 402283GR TECH HAD RECEIVED EMAIL FROM ARENS TECH SUPPORT ON 06/15/2018 (PERFORM CALIBRATION PROCEDURE ON ELECTRIC SHIFT MOTOR) NOW TRUCK WORKS AS IT SHOULD. *DT UPDATED 12/3/18*JB
