Consumer Description

STRANDED BECAUSE SHIFTER CABLE BROKE. I HAD TO DRIVE A RENTAL CAR HOME FROM OHIO.I WAS ABLE TO BYPASS THE SHIFTER CABLE TO GET HOME AND NOT TAKE THE CAR OUT OF GEAR. I HAD KIDS IN THE CAR AND THE WEATHER WAS 103 DEGREES. THE CAR WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR FOR ME TO START AND PUT THE AIR ON. KIDS WERE REALLY HOT AND I HAVE TO GET THE CAR TOWED TO A DEALER. NOW THE DEALERSHIP IS TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED UNTIL THE REVISED PARTS COME IN. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS. CAR WONT START, BECAUSE THE CAR DOESNT KNOW IT IS IN PARK.
