Consumer Description

TAKATA RECALL TOOK CAR IN TO TOYOTA DEALER FOR NEW AIRBAG AND WAITED 1/2 DAY FOR AIRBAG TO BE INSTALLED. WAS TOLD IT WAS COMPLETED BUT I NOTICED THE DOOR STILL HAD HOLLOW SOUND WHEN I CLOSED IT AFTER RETURNING HOME. CHECKED ONLINE WITH VIN# AND IT SAID RECALL INCOMPLETE. THOUGH I FILLED OUT SURVEY I RECEIVED IN EMAIL REGARDING SERVICING OF CAR, IT KEPT BUMPING ME OFF AT THE END OF THE FILLED OUT ONLINE FORM. TODAY I GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE REP WHO DID PAPERWORK AT TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ASKING ME TO COMPLETE SURVEY. THATS WHEN I DECIDED TO CHECK VIN AND FOUND IT HADN'T BEEN SERVICED AT ALL!!!
