Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MOVED WHILE ENGAGED IN PARK. THE DEALER (KELLER BROS FORD LEBANON, 1030 SCHAEFFER RD, LEBANON, PA 17042, (717) 949-2000) CONFIRMED THAT THE SHIFTER CABLE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL AND SUGGESTED THAT THE CONTACT CALL NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000.
