Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V821000 (POWER TRAIN) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTIFICATION IN DECEMBER OF 2017. THE DEALER (OURISMAN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BOWIE, 2406 CRAIN HWY, BOWIE, MD 20176) STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT. **TR CONSUMER STATED NO ADDITIONAL ACTION REQUIRED AS BOTH "RECALL" CONCERNS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED BY A DEALER (DODGE) PER CHRYSLER'S APPROVAL. 1)9-5-18 T79 SAFETY RECALL 2) 8-1-18 V04 FRAME BRACKET.
