TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH COMING OFF A RAMP, THE ENGINE SEIZED AND THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN AS THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO REV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NO FAILURE CODES APPEARED WHEN HE CHECKED ON HIS CODE READER. THE DEALER (LARRY H. MILLER FORD LINCOLN DRAPER, 11442 LONE PEAK PKWY, DRAPER, UT 84020, (801) 590-0561) STATED THAT THE FAILURE MAY BE DUE TO THE TRANSMISSION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,500. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
