Consumer Description

2016 RAM DIESEL 2500 4WD HEAVY DUTY, 27,022 MILES/33 MONTHS. NOTICED SEVERE CORROSION ON BOTH 12V BATTERIES 'NEGATIVE' POSTS. AFTER REMOVING CONNECTIONS, FOUND MULTIPLE CRACKS ON THE BATTERY ITSELF WHERE THE NEGATIVE POSTS ARE INSTALLED. CRACKS ALLOWED BATTERY ACID AND FUMES TO ESCAPE (BOTH CORROSION HAZARD, BREATHING HAZARD, AND EXPLOSIVE FUME SITUATION). THESE ARE OEM BATTERIES, LEFT IN ITS ORIGINAL STATE SINCE PURCHASED NEW FROM DEALER.
