TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V167000 (STEERING); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. PLANET FORD 45 (20403 INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 45, SPRING, TEXAS 77388, (888) 591-9013) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. IN ADDITION, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE EARLIEST DATE OF SERVICE WOULD BE SEPTEMBER 21, 2018. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
