TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 BMW 750I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE OCCUPANT PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 164,000.
