Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE STATIONARY, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START WHEN PROMPTED. THE CONTACT CONTINUALLY INSERTED AND RE-INSERTED THE REMOTE KEY INTO THE IGNITION TO START THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, IN EXTREMELY HOT WEATHER, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE DEALER (HUNTER DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 1130 AUTO MALL DR, LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA 93534, (661) 948-8411) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 186,000.
