Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR AN OIL CHANGE, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE RACK AND PINION WAS LEAKING AND COULD CAUSE THE STEERING WHEEL TO FAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 93,600.
