TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE ODO DATA ERROR MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. ALSO, THE WRENCH ICON AND TIRE PRESSURE MODULE FAILURE INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ERROR CODE: P0720 (SPEED CONTROL SENSOR) WAS LOCATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,378.
