Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND SWITCHED INADVERTENTLY FROM AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION. WHEN THE VEHICLE SWITCHED TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION, IT BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN. IN ORDER TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, THE GEAR KNOB NEEDED TO BE TURNED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND WAS PLACED IN MANUAL MODE IN ORDER TO OPERATE. THE CONTACT CALLED LAKELAND CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (2875 MALL HILL DR., LAKELAND, FL 33810 (863) 687-2501) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NORMAL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,000.
